Thanks to alert reader Paul Hobcraft for alerting me a link to this video on the Stamford website, in which Google VP of search products and user experience Marissa Mayer (their innovation guru) gives a presentation on the search engine giant’s nine principles of innovation. These rules are:
- Ideas come from everywhere
- Cheer everything you can
- You're brilliant, we're hiring
- A license to pursue dreams
- Innovation, not instant perfection
- Data is apolitical
- Creativity loves constraints
- It's users, not money
- Don't kill projects, morph them
